The Soulful Chicago Book Fair, is a wonderful educational event, that inspires the community, provides an avenue for authors to express their creativity while positively influencing lives..

I just want to commend our authors and commend Asadah for putting this together. We are so brilliant and talented and creative. We love and support each other. There was so much love and encouragement for people's work and writings. Don't get it twisted!

Can you say thank you too much? Well, who cares! Thanks Asadah! Your vision turned reality was a gift, joy and a pleasure to behold. If it was a great way to celebrate Chicago; if it was just a fun day with books and music; if it was just an outstanding chance to network with other African American authors, it would've all been cool. But it was all that - and more. I'm honored to be a part of the ‪#‎gatheringofthegriots‬ Other book fairs got their work cut out for them. The bar has been raised!

My daughter made connections with people who want to have her speak to young women and a representative from her highschool will look into purchasing her book for the school library. Was great exposure for her and I am thrilled to see Asadah's dream manifested. Looking forward to next year.

Asadah, I like your do-ability attitude. We, as a people, are always afraid to dare, attempt, try, jump in. To see the excitement on the faces of the children as they ran to choose books, to see how well organized everything was, it was just wonderful. Congratulations!
